A buddy dropped off his Yamaha guitar that had the headstock snapped
off. It was missing a few of the wood pieces and several cracks in what
was left. I glued it up with 2 ton epoxy.
Next I planed and sanded every thing level before routing out
the low spots (about 1/8" deep).
I cut a piece of mahogany to fill the void I routed out, then glued it in place.
Wax paper keeps the glue from sticking to the clamping block and clamps.
The new wood is planed and sanded, ready for the ebony overlay.
Turned out nice. Note the TRC, Ebony on Maple
