My second Armadillo A5. A bit of a rush job, only three
weeks to complete before delivery.

Chinese body and neck. I
reworked & customized the
neck, top & back, and
peghead. I used my own
graduations and upgraded
the tone bars using red
spruce. Also, I added a
Virzi tone enhancer. It has a
22 fret ebony compound
radius fret board with large
frets. The fretboard has
3mm mop position dots and
2mm black mop side dots. I
also bound the peghead
and body with i/b/i triple
binding. I am using Grover
tuners and an ebony bridge,
plus it will have a matching
mesquite bound pickguard
and inlaid McClung armrest
(but of course). The Hill
Country Stringworks inlay
is on the mesquite
peghead plus a MOP
armadillo on the back.
